Concrete/Asphalt
Foundations, slabs, driveways our concrete specialist have a finishing touch that is not often seen. When we pour foundations/slabs we pay attention to the humidity levels to determine the slump factor. The higher the humidity the dryer the mix and conversely the lower humidity the wetter the mix. This all factors in to pouring concrete. After pouring foundation/slab we keep all trades off for 3 weeks to allow the curing process to be complete. By doing this we eliminate the potential for cracking.
Asphalt
The most important thing in processing and laying asphalt is ground prep. Depending on soil conditions there are specific steps to assure a solid no cracking asphalt pavement. Stabilization of soil is most critical, without soil stabilization asphalt will crack, flake and fall apart.
